In addition to being a fantastic Realtor, Rachael Bassett serves on the Melbourne City Council as the representative of District 4. 

Rachael was born in North Adams, Massachusetts, and attended Massachusetts College for Liberal Arts for four years majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. In 2012, Rachael moved to Florida and worked as a Sheriff’s Department Dispatcher. While working as a Sheriff's Dispatcher, Rachael obtained her Florida Real Estate Salesperson's license. She also maintains a Florida Private Investigator and Security certification. Rachael is a member of Florida Association for Private Investigators and lifetime member of the NRA. She is certified through the 18th Judicial Court (Brevard & Seminole County) as a Certified Process Server and Notary. 

Rachael regularly attends Melbourne Community Relations meetings and actively volunteers in the community for events bettering the lagoon and neighborhood improvements. In her spare time,  she enjoys shooting, attending local art and crafts shows and placing her wood carvings and paintings exhibits in local and national art shows.
